A vanishing species!

These are truly a vanishing species!  I have sold my glass making equipment in order to make way for the pottery equipment.   These guys (and one gal!) are the last of the Fish Series.   They are all living at Koka Gallery so I thought while I was there this week I would get some pictures.   Come on in and meet the gang!

Dolores.   The only gal in the bunch and as you might guess she is a little bit of a Show Off!

This little guy is one of my favorites!  He is of the Bodacious group and has never gotten a name but his happy go lucky charm shines through!  He is mounted on a really nice piece of african malachite.

Next are three of the rowdy boys!  Bodacious in species and they all have awesome tail fins!

The Fish Sticks were the next to evolve.   The first picture is "The Drunk".  I mistakenly picked up a rod of red glass (it's clear in color until you heat it up) and used it for the clear over the eyes.  As you might notice he has a slight case of the Red Eye!    The second picture is another of my favorites.  This is Charley.   He swims through life smiling.  What more could anyone ask for, huh?

The last species of Fish became known as the "Bottom Feeders" for their extreme ugliness.  They are/were so ugly that people loved them and consequently there is only one left.   He isn't named yet but he could very easily move into your house......

Hope you enjoyed the pictures!
