First Kiln Firing!
This evening we got the kiln opened with the first firing! Woo Hoo! Some turned out wonderful and then some didn't. That's the way it goes as you are learning! Here are a few of my favorites.
Shino with Green accents, Spoon Rest or Ring Holder
Another Style Spoon Rest or Small Dish for rings and things, or even a tea bag!
Green - a surprize for me with the brown accents!
The first of the Heart Lace Plates! This one is about 3 x 3" and turned out just right! The lace is one of my Grandmother Turnbull's piece of work!
And finally, the large Lace Platter! This one could be a little better but I am pretty happy with it as it is!
